Location, comfort, breakfast, staff all perfect . I loved this hotel. A super comfortable room, superb breakfast buffet and friendly staff. The location is perfect being close to the Smyrna ruins and the climb up to the castle. It's also by the bazaar and then on to Konak. Highly recommended. I'll definitely stay there again if I come back to Izmir. .

. Amazing place in Izmir !!! This IS THE PLACE to stay if you are in Izmir. Right across the big mosque and Rumi's grave. Walkable to everything around. Great food choices. Owner was out of this world. Rooms were Great. Breakfast was decent. Altogether, it was an amazing experience. Wish we had stayed longer. . .

. The bed was nice & comfortable. The only issues I had was the area around the hotel, the ac turning off and not being set to automatic (I woke up sweating often during my stay and it was hot on my floor in the hall), and a limited selection of food for breakfast. . .

The hotel is in the heart of downtown, and we were told by our airport transfer driver that the area was dangerous to walk at night.
There aren’t good restaurants in the immediate surroundings, but if you’re willing to walk 1-2 kms you can find better options.. .
