. On expedia is notes that we could get a complimentary room upgrade however the hotel noted that we could do the upgrade but it would costs us. As we wanted to upgrade from a room without a balcony to a room with a balcony, we paid regardless. Otherwise the staff was amazing and very accommodating, breakfast was great, the rooms are very clean and a it is in a superb location. You are very close to the walkway of the marina and there is so much to do in the area. Would come back here again the next time I am in Dubai!. .
